The Iredell County Sheriff's Office is committed to promoting motorcycle safety, rider education, and community engagement through the Governor's Highway Safety Bike Safe program. Our goal is to provide riders with professional instruction and real-world safety awareness, to help make North Carolina roads safer for everyone.

The Iredell County Sheriff's Office exists to serve all people within our jurisdiction with respect, fairness and compassion. We are dedicated to providing a quality work environment with professionalism and moral values. We invest in our team members through effective training, leadership, and career development.

Our mission is to provide quality and effective law enforcement services to the citizens of Iredell County. We serve each individual citizen through crime prevention, drug enforcement, proactive patrols, and education, while maintaining the highest level of professionalism.

Bike Safe is just one of the many community programs and resources Sheriff Darren E. Campbell provides completely free of charge to the citizens of Iredell County. Other programs include the Teen Academy, Sheriff's Athletic League, Citizens Academy, Church Shield, Active Shooter response, Neighborhood Watch, Lake Watch, Rape Aggression Defense, Fraud presentation from our Economic Crimes Unit, and the Sheriff's Office mobile app with additional safety and information resources.
