Master Corporal Whittle began his career with the Guilford County Sheriff's Office in 2011 as a Reserve Deputy. In January 2012, MCpl. Whittle accepted a full time Deputy position in District 3. In December 2012, MCpl. Whittle transferred to District 1 Patrol Division where he worked until his promotion to Master Corporal in October of 2021, when he was reassigned to District 2. In May 2014, MCpl. Whittle was assigned to the Sheriff's Office Motorcycle Team. In November of 2020, MCpl. Whittle became a certified Police Motorcycle Instructor through Floridas IPTM.
