Chad Hawkins is the chief of Cherryville Police Department. Before accepting the Police Chief position he was the Sergeant over the Gastonia Police Department Traffic Enforcement Division.
Chief Hawkins currently serves as a Reserve Officer with Gastonia Police Department and continues to work with the Traffic Division as a certified Bike Safe Assessor.
