Trooper Mark Coyle has been a member of the North Carolina State Highway Patrol motor unit since 2004. He is currently assigned to the Western division of the motor unit covering Charlotte to the mountains. He is executive protection certified and a field training officer. He has been involved in multiple high level protection details to include but not limited to former President H. W. Bush, former President G. W. Bush, current President Barak Obama and former Prime Minister of England Lady Thatcher.
