Ofc. Smith has been serving with the Hendersonville PD since 2005. Along with being a Motor Officer his is a Field Training Officer. Ofc. Smith successfully completed the Northwest University 2 week Motor Officer training course located in Raleigh, NC in November 2011. He is also certified in RADAR/LIDAR and has been a chemical analyst since starting with the Hendersonville PD in 2005. In 2010 Ofc. Smith successfully completed the Northwest University Supervision of Police Personnel course and will be applying for promotion when a position becomes available.
