Taylor Beverly started his law enforcement with the Kannapolis Police Department in 2016. In 2022 Taylor Beverly joined the Cabarrus County Sheriff's Office. After joining the CCSO Motor Unit in 2023, Deputy Beverly attended and successfully completed an 80-hour Basic Motor Officer School hosted by the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office, so he could begin assisting with escorts/events and training with the CCSO Motor Unit. As a requirement for all Motor Officers with the Cabarrus County Sheriff's Office, Deputy Beverly also attended and successfully completed the 80-hour NCSHP Motor Officer Course in March of 2024. Deputy Beverly is currently assigned to C-Squad patrol as a Field Training Officer.
